29th Nov – 2nd Dec
Euro-Mediterranean Symposium on Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy
Workshops
Credentials will be mailed to all participants (presential and online alike) to join the Zoom session from which they will be able to join the Workshops. The credentials will be mailed shortly before the Workshop starts (around 15 minutes earlier).
- First workshop: 15.05 (GMT+1)
- Second workshop: 17.00 (GMT+1)
We recommend installing Zoom in your computer in advance.
Presential participants: you can take the L1 (Cerillero-Hospital de Cabueñes) bus line at several bus stops in the City Centre. A short trip of 15-20 min will take you to “Escuela de Marina”, one of the Faculties from the Campus. The Multi-Purpose Building is within walking distance from this spot. Organization will be waiting at the building entrance to guide participants.
On the eve of our first Symposium day, two workshops will be held. The University of Oviedo has kindly agreed to offer its well-equiped installations in Gijón. Although the presential assistance to workshops will have limited capacity (25 participants), the University will provide resources to ensure that any participant can access them online.
The workshops are free of charge, regardless of presential or online participation.

Boltzmann plots and calibration curves to CSigma-LIBS
It’ll be presented by Carlos Aragón and José Antonio Aguilera, from the Public University of Navarre (Spain). The duration will be of 1h30min.
Workshop 2
